This book is about a boy called Billy Miller: Billy is worried about his school since on the summer holidays he fell and hurt his head. He also really likes bats because he thinks bats are cool. Plus his dad makes really good cookies.
Of course Billy is my favourite character because he’s kind to Ms Silver furthermore he’s a little bit funny.
To be honest I don’t really like the book because it’s actually quite boring. I would rate this book number five on a scale from one to ten!

Sorry you didn't enjoy this book so much. It was one of my favourites. As it was set in the USA perhaps the context was unfamiliar?

This is one of my favorites. I really liked the book because I thought it was interesting and it was about a boy bumping his head so he was a bit scared of school. He had a friend named Ned and at the end they had a poetry show. I Rate this book 10 out of 10 but it was a bit long.

Billy started second grade with lots of worries.Maybe because of he got a gigantic bumps on his head during summer holiday just before his second grade.Worse when he overheard his parents said it will caused brain damage. This book is all about Billy's life with family,Papa,Mama and sister,Sal,school and friendship. Billy always found his little sister annoyed. But eventually he learnt how to appreciate her better at the end.And he had an interesting second grade journey with his family.
